We are excited about the opportunity to participate in “Artistically Speaking:Celebrating Poetry and Art” on November 3, 2019 hosted by the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission at the City Hall Rotunda. Fifteen high school students from area schools such as Liberty, Freedom, Charter Arts, Bethlehem Catholic, and Moravian Academy will join area poets Matt Wolf, Cleveland Wall, and Elynn Alexander (more details to come!) in responding through poetry to abstract works on display in an upcoming show in the Rotunda. Poets will respond to individual works of art and share poetry on November 3 with an opening reception in the Rotunda Gallery on Sunday, September 29 from 2:00-4:00. We will post more information as it comes on the Lehigh Valley Poetry facebook page. (https://www.facebook.com/lehighvalleypoetry/)

Lehigh Valley Poetry
Lehigh Valley Poetry is a non-hierarchal, informal cooperative group of local and visiting poets and supporters. The goals are simple: share, connect, include, support, promote, appreciate, collaborate, and increase the community visibility of poetry. Whether you are “established” or are just jumping in, we don’t care where you are with your work. We care that you care, whatever that looks like.
