We are pretty stoked to announce that a printed zine is in the works for August 2017, featuring poetry and art of the Lehigh Valley. Produced by small press/ zine distro/ LV Poetry organizer Elynn Alexander, it will be made in the old school style of her old zines with lo-tech BW with an aesthetic that is more concerned with being cheap enough to share vs. polished. “The purpose of a zine is to create something that is more personally connected, folded and stapled, easy to share, unconcerned with marketability and ego. To hand over a zine is to share something, to create something that you want to get out into the world- whether or not it is appreciated, respected, even needed. The zine refuses to come clean. Zine makers refuse to justify.”
The best way to submit your poetry, art, comics, etc. is to get in touch: elynnalexander@gmail.com.
July 20 is the deadline.
