We are looking forward to a reading of “A Knee That Can Bend” this weekend, August 13, at the Unicorn Theatre in Catasaqua. Hosted by Shaun Leisher, “A Knee That Can Bend” will be read by members of the Punk Theatre of Allentown. It is a new play by Emma Goidel and was the recipient of seven Barrymore Award nominations.
“When American student Kate stumbles into an underground circle of queers in Senegal, her semester abroad transforms into an intimate tour of Dakar’s hidden gay nightlife.”
The cast includes Torez Mosley, Kelly Chemidlin, Chloe Cole-Wilson, and more. General admission tickets are available at the door for $5, cash only.
