Doors open at 6:30, stage at 7:00. Open mic: five minute slots
Hosted by Cleveland Wall and Elynn Alexander. Facebook event here.
Billie Lane is a local force who brings strength with heart to the stage. No stranger to the poetry community, Billie Lane has performed at the Ice House before and many area venues. You won’t want to miss it.
Hiram Larew will join us this month, from Maryland. His fourth collection of poems, Undone, was published in 2018 by FootHills Publishing. He recently received an Individual Artists grant from the Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council for The Poetry Poster Project as well as a Creativity Grant from the Maryland State Arts Council for his Poetry X Hunger initiative.
Here is a video from Billy Mack Collector, “What’s The Big Deal?” from Bag of Rice. Billy Mack is a local musician who has recently wrapped up Mister Owl, and has been the creative glue for many in our local arts communities.
This month’s Tuesday Muse will also feature the usual pop up book shop and all are welcome to sell/barter books and creative wares. We will also have a display of the recent “Fierce Women” mail art call.
