The monthly open mic at the Mary Meuser library on Northampton Street in Wilson will have big changes for 2020. Darrell Parry, host of the open mic, has added a new series called Stick Figure Poetry. This will still be a monthly event in the annex at the library, but it will switch to the third Thursday of the month and will include workshops and featured guests. Darrell and Eva will also have an online blog to feature local writing and will be accepting submissions. There is a group on facebook that you can join here.
