Thank you to local LV storyteller Denise McCormack for facilitating a workshop this past weekend at the Nurture Nature Center in Easton. Denise guided us through haiku exercises and reflecting on childhood landscapes to begin the process of digging into memoir writing. We shared our initial drafts and talked about the ways that our childhood communities have changed.
This workshop is part of the Perspectives program at the center, coordinated by Art Director Keri Maxfield. You can find them on facebook and keep an eye out for the opening of this year’s exhibit as well as updates on upcoming workshops and events.
